Beaufort Street Parking needs to be redesigned to meet the needs of local businesses and residents.

While any parking regime will have its opponents, there is an overwhelming negative response to the new parking meters. This is not surprising given that the vast majority of businesses opposed the plan in the Council survey.

The Vincent Council still has not started the formal process for adoption of a new planning scheme, even though six years has elapsed since the completion of the public consultation process and seven years since the review of the scheme began.
